Job summary

Northwest Employment Works is seeking motivated and physically fit linecutters to join our field crew on a project west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. You will cut and clear survey lines through bush, maintain gear, and live in on-site camp accommodations.

This role requires endurance for long days in rough terrain, chainsaw experience, and a collaborative team mindset. We value reliability, safety, and the ability to work independently in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work long days in rough, uneven terrain.
• Chainsaw safety certification and ATV operating experience are assets.
• Experience in remote bush environments (line cutting, forestry, exploration, geology fieldwork) is an asset.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Comfortable with remote on-site camp living.

Compensation

Pay depends on experience. On-site accommodations are provided by the company.
