The Arlington Hotel in downtown Paris, Ontario, part of Carmens Group, is seeking a Line Cook to deliver high-quality, beautifully presented dishes in a collaborative kitchen. Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, banquet, or high-volume kitchen environment.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques.
• Safe Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset.
• Culinary Trade Certification or Red Seal designation is an asset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items in accordance with established recipes, quality expectations, and presentation standards.
• Organize, stock, and maintain your assigned station before, during, and after service.
• Ensure your workspace and equipment remain clean, safe, and organized throughout your shift.
• Adhere to all food handling, sanitation, storage, and workplace safety requirements.
• Support food preparation, service, plating, and special event execution as needed.
• Work closely with the culinary team to maintain efficient, timely service.
• Assist fellow team members and help keep kitchen operations running smoothly during busy periods.
• Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Consistently prepare food with care, accuracy, and pride.

As a Line Cook at The Arlington Hotel, you will help deliver consistently high-quality, beautifully presented food for our guests. You’ll work in a collaborative kitchen where attention to detail, organization, and a passion for great food are essential.

What You Will Be Doing
