Montana’s BBQ & Bar in Alberta is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and present high-quality dishes using standardized recipes and portions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining safety and cleanliness while adhering to defined procedures.

Responsibilities include line checks, plating to spec, and performing opening/closing tasks. A positive attitude and reliability are essential for success on this energetic team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, social and organizational skills.
• 2+ years in kitchen environment is a plus.
• Food safety awareness or certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Complete line check pars to prep sufficient product for service.
• Ensure quality of food is outstanding at all times.
• Plate food to specifications for a great dining experience.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as instructed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work area and equipment.
• Complete cleaning tasks as directed by management.
• Follow Food Safety policies and complete logs as required.
