Job summary

Viaggio Hospitality Group in New Westminster, BC is seeking a reliable Line Cook to join the Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen BOH team. You will prep stations, assist with dish components, and ensure health and safety standards are met. You must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in the same or similar role.
• Enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.
• Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
• Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
• Report to the Head Chef and follow instructions accordingly.
• Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
• Stock inventory and supplies.
• Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

Our menu is full of house-made favourites & our chefs focus on freshness & unique flavours cooking with our beer, seasonal produce & local seafood. We are currently seeking a reliable, passionate a Line Cook to join our impressive BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for hospitality and upscale service.
