Role Description

This is a full-time role for line cook position,, located in Hamilton, ON. The cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section. They will support the Head Chef in delivering consistently high-quality food, follow recipes and presentation guidelines, ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations, and manage inventory and order supplies as needed. Additionally, the cook will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cooking and food preparation
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures in the kitchen
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Food Safety certification highly recommended
