Job summary

• Empties and cleans garbage cans.
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors.
• Restocks dispensers containing soap, towels, and sanitary napkins.
• Dusts and damp wipes office equipment.

Job description

Overview

A janitor is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included.

Schedule

Monday to Friday – Full Time - 13 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)
• Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, locker rooms and lunchrooms
• Empties and cleans garbage cans
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors
• Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
• Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
