Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a reliable janitor to maintain cleanliness of floors, washrooms, offices and common areas in our Halifax facility. Monday to Friday, 4pm-12am shift. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom cleaning, waste disposal, restocking supplies, and basic dusting of office equipment. A criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors (mopping, sweeping) and washrooms daily
• Clean offices, lockers rooms and lunchrooms
• Empties and cleans garbage cans
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors
• Restocks soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
• Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
• Additional duties may be required from time to time

General Description: A janitor is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday - 4pm-12am

Responsibilities:

• Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)
• Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, lockers rooms and lunchrooms
• Empties and cleans garbage cans
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors
• Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
• Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
