Job summary

Sasquatch Mountain Resort is seeking a Lift Maintenance Manager to oversee safe, reliable operation of lift systems. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain service records while supporting year‑round operations.

This hands‑on leadership role requires strong mechanical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to plan capital work with Outside Operations. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lift maintenance or mechanical operations.
• Strong knowledge of CSA Z98 and lift maintenance standards.
• Completion of Selkirk College Lift 150 Passenger Ropeways Trainer Certificate.
• Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily mechanics of the lift maintenance program under supervision.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues on lifts and equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues with machines and operational processes.
• Follow manufacturer manuals and installation guidelines for all work.
• Maintain records of work and support training of Lift Operators.
