Job summary

Sasquatch Mountain Resort is seeking a Lift Maintenance Manager to lead the safe, reliable operation of chairlifts and passenger conveyors. You will oversee daily maintenance, preventative tasks, and issue resolution while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate service records.

The role requires advanced mechanical expertise, CSA Z98 familiarity, and experience supervising a maintenance team. Off-season planning and year-round operations support are part of the scope, with flexible hours

Qualifications

• Red Seal Millwright certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulics, electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with lift maintenance or mechanical operations required.
• CSA Z98 knowledge and lift maintenance standards beneficial.
• Selkirk College Lift 150 Trainer Certificate required; Lift 151–153 assets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily mechanics of the lift maintenance program under supervision.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues on lifts and equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues with machines, equipment and operational processes.
• Follow manufacturer manuals, specifications and installation guidelines.
• Participate in preventative maintenance of all lifts and lift maintenance equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work and report on lift maintenance activities.
• Support training of Lift Operators for safe operation and routine checks.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors for inspections, testing and maintenance.
• Plan, assign and oversee daily work tasks with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Ski Patrol and Operations.
