Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Lifestyle and Programs Manager to design and lead engaging experiences for our retirement residence community. You’ll create a vibrant, welcoming environment where residents feel inspired, connected, and cared for.

You’ll design programs aligned with wellness dimensions, monitor engagement, and partner with marketing to host events that raise visibility and support business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years of experience planning or managing recreational programs
• Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology, social work or similar
• Great communication and leadership skills and customer experience
• Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate classification for passenger transportation, per provincial regulations (or willingness to get one)
• First Aid Certification (we’ll provide the training)

You’ll play a key role in creating a vibrant, welcoming environment where our residents feel inspired, connected, and cared for.

• Some physical activity (like lifting boxes) and occasional weekend shifts
• Some travel may be required
