Qualifications

• Certification from an approved AB OHS provider within the last 12 months.
• Swim Instructor or Lifesaving Instructor certification is an asset.
• Evidence of a clear Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe aquatic environment by following National Lifeguard standards.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service.
• Perform water tests and keep the pool area clean.

Skills

National Lifeguard - Pool certification

Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C

YMCA Swim Instructor certification

Ability to work evenings and weekends
