Job summary

Altea Winnipeg is seeking Lifeguards and Swim Instructors dedicated to safety and high-quality aquatics programming. You will monitor pools, enforce rules, and provide age-appropriate swim lessons while engaging with members and families in a positive, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include supervising swimmers, performing rescues when needed, maintaining records, and assisting with pool operations.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard/LSI and National Lifeguard certifications
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained throughout employment
• Safety rules knowledge and incident reporting
• Excellent communication with members and staff

Responsibilities

• Monitor water for safety and enforce rules
• Rescue swimmers as needed and respond to emergencies
• Plan and run age-appropriate swim lessons
• Maintain records and incident reports
• Assist with opening/closing pools and ensuring water quality
