Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a permanent part-time role at Crofton Manor, Vancouver BC. You will follow a set schedule and provide patient-centred nursing care to residents, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires LPN registration, good clinical knowledge, and comfort working with seniors and unregulated care staff. Onsite work with onboarding, training, and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned, patient-oriented nursing care per provincial standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to support residents and families.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans; document care accurately and timely.
• Supervise and mentor unregulated care providers; coaching as needed.

Wage: $32.84-$41.35

Location: Crofton Manor, Vancouver BC

Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off

Shift Details

• Fridays & Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sundays & Mondays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• LPNs are responsible for providing planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with the provincial standards of care.
• LPNs are an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team who build trusted relationships with our residents, families and teams with continuous ongoing and effective communication.
• LPNs implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plans and make changes as required.
• LPNs complete and ensure resident’s clinical care assessments, care plans and documentation are accurate, up to date and communicate changes as required.
• LPNs teach, delegate and direct unregulated care providers, providing them with coaching & mentorship.

What YOU bring

• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable province
• Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge
• Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred
• Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset
• Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships
• Strong written and oral communication skills and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
• Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one
