Capital City Nurses Healthcare Services, a leading provider of home care services for over 40 years is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) available to work in Virginia.

Areas of opportunity include: Alexandria, Sterling, Tysons Corner, Arlington, Fairfax, Mclean, Oakton, Springfield, Burke, Annandale, Chantilly, Centreville, Clifton, Vienna and Great Falls

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on client’s Plan of Care
• Provides nursing care within the scope of licensure as defined by state law
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians
• Maintains records and reports according to regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
• Collaborates with Physician or other Licensed Practitioner to arrange for further medical treatment
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications:

• Must have CNA License School Certificate
• Must have LPN license through Virginia Board of Nursing
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing or CNA program
• A minimum of 1 year of licensed professional nursing experience in home care preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license
• Able to lift, position, transfer patient, supplies and equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills
