Grand View Manor Continuing Care Community has been providing a home for seniors where comfort and happiness come first since 1970. Currently, 142 residents live in our nursing home, while 24 apartments offer couples or individuals independent or assisted living. Over 250 kind and skilled professionals are employed at Grand View Manor to provide loving care within a close-knit community. Our dedicated staff team, alongside our many volunteers, faces both opportunities and challenges as we grow and adapt to the changing needs of our residents.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Berwick, NS. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care to residents, administering medications, supervising CCAs, and assisting with activities of daily living. The role includes collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, documenting patient information accurately, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents. Additionally, the LPN will offer support and education to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse certification and current licensure
• Experience in patient care, including administering medications
• Skilled in documentation and care plan development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Experience in a long-term care or similar setting is a plus
• Ability to provide compassionate care and support to residents and their families
