Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Home Health team at Kiro Wellness Centre in Trail, BC. About The Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Performs assessments, plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to clients, such as wound care, IV, catheter care, and pleurex drains, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Administers oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Operates within the full scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), following organizational policies, procedures, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

Central Intake is a service providing a single point of contact for the public and healthcare providers for consultation or referral. Intake staff assist with questions about or referrals to available care and resources. It serves as the single access point for all new client referrals within Home Health programs from all sources.

This is a casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0 to 37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts will be scheduled days rotating from 08:30 to 16:30 hours.
