Alberta Health Services in Barrhead is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the interprofessional health care team at Barrhead Continuing Care Centre. You perform nursing processes, apply critical thinking, and deliver safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centred care under applicable legislation and standards.

The role is a temporary part-time position (0.82 FTE) with shifts on a 10-week cycle, supporting Days, Evenings, and Weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
