Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Ponoka is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Home Care team. You will work within an interprofessional health care team, applying nursing processes, critical thinking, and decision making to provide safe, high-quality patient and family-centred care.

This temporary full-time position supports a 12-week shift cycle with 7.75-hour shifts and a rotation of days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
