Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Provost, Alberta seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join an interprofessional health care team. You will provide safe, patient‑ and family‑centred care following established standards and policies at Provost Health Centre.

This temporary part‑time role offers flexible hours, 7.75 hour shifts, and a focus on community care with opportunities to work across CCH Type A settings. BCLS-HCP certification and CLHA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high quality, patient- and family-centred care in collaboration with the interprofessional health care team.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Required Qualifications:
