Alberta Health Services seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the CLHCC-Acute Care team in Cold Lake. You will contribute to safe, patient- and family-centred care guided by your training and clinical judgment, aligned with organizational standards and policies.
You will work within an interprofessional healthcare team, applying nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to deliver quality care with rotating day, night and weekend shifts.

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
1-3 years in the past 5 years on Acute Care/ Medical Surgical unit.
Labor and delivery experience is an asset but not required; training in obstetrics is to be expected and is offered on site. Neonatal resuscitation is an asset but not required; training in NRP is to be expected and is offered on site. Cross training to other nursing departments within CLHCC may be necessary. ACLS and PALS would be considered an asset.
