Job summary

A home care service provider in Metro Vancouver seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care and support clients in a facility environment. The ideal candidate will possess a nursing diploma, be CPR certified, and have strong monitoring skills to ensure client well-being. Flexible scheduling is offered, encouraging caring individuals to make a meaningful impact in their community. Ability to drive is a must as well as a commitment to confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to work in a facility environment.
  • Access to a vehicle is required.
  • Willingness to work minimum 3-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Providing skilled nursing visits for clients by creating a care plan.
  • Following the client’s plan of care.
  • Monitoring, recognizing, and reporting changes in the client’s condition.
  • Delivering medication reminders to clients.

What we’re looking for:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Registered in BC as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Must be willing to work in a facility environment
  • CPR certified.
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
