Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose.

The role supports interdisciplinary teams in delivering holistic patient care across multiple services, with responsibilities that may include leading on care activities within established standards. The position is a 0.65 FTE temporary role with day, evening, and night shifts; start date around late September 2026 and a finite end date in March 2027, aiming to uphold Covenant Health’s patient safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent.
• Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA).
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, safe patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead care as required and follow Covenant Health policies.

Description:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team lead effectively on their own. The LPN works to the full scope of practice in providing safe, quality care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE Auxiliary Nursing Collective Agreement.
