Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Brooks, Alberta is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Brooks Home Care team. You will provide patient- and family-centered care within an interprofessional health care team, applying nursing processes, critical thinking, and sound decision making under CLHA guidelines.

This temporary part-time role (0.70 FTE) involves days, evenings and weekends with a 7.75-hour shift and offers a competitive hourly salary in the posted range.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Applicable seniors health education courses an asset (NVCI, Supportive Pathways, Wound care).
• A minimum 2 years’ experience in geriatric care. Knowledge of Connect Care/Care Manager/Microsoft Outlook.
