Job summary

Enercare Inc. is seeking a Licensed Plumber to diagnose, service, and install plumbing products at our Enercare - Hammond location in Kitchener, ON. You will focus on customer service, integrity, and resolving customer concerns while following the collective agreement.

The role requires a Gasfitter 2 license, a valid plumbing license, and at least two years of licensed experience. Expect 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Gasfitter 2 License is required.
• Must possess a valid license to perform plumbing work per regulations for the area.
• Minimum of two years of licensed plumbing experience.
• Experience with standard plumber’s tools (snakes, wrenches, pipe threaders, hand/bench tools, power saws, gauges).
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and interpret designer’s intent.
• Strong communication, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills.
• Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be required.
• Must meet background check criteria.

Rate of Pay: $41.89 per hour - as per collective agreement

• Must possess a valid License to perform plumbing work, as required by provincial or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
• A minimum of two years of Licensed plumbing experience is required.
• The qualified candidate must have experience using standard plumber’s tools such as snakes, wrenches, pipe threaders, hand and bench tools, power saws, and pressure gauges.
• Must be able to interpret drawings and blueprints and be capable of understanding the designer’s intent.
• Strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot problems with plumbing systems and equipment.
• The ability to work occasional overtime and weekend hours as required.
• The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
