The Seaboard Transport Group invites qualified Licensed Mechanics to join our Mount Pearl, NL team. You will perform maintenance and repairs with a focus on safety and efficiency, participate in upkeep meetings, and maintain clear electronic work orders.

A Red Seal certification is required, with B620 inspector experience considered an asset. We value professional interactions, ongoing training, and a team-based approach to keep our fleet running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification as a truck/trailer mechanic is required.
• Experience as a B620 inspector is an asset.
• Proficiency with computers is desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.
