Job summary

Seaboard Transport Group in Sarnia, ON is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our family-owned team. You will perform maintenance and repairs to regulatory standards, participate in safety meetings, and communicate clearly with colleagues.

Red Seal certification is required; B620 inspector experience is an asset. Proficiency with computers and a professional, team-oriented approach will help you grow with our stable, year-round operation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Red Seal certification for truck and/or trailer mechanics.
• B620 inspector experience is an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills required.
• Proficiency with computers and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional, service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with training and development opportunities.

Your Role:

What You Bring to the Table:

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
