Job summary

Merit Ontario is seeking an experienced plumber to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings in Elmira, Ontario. The role offers full‑time, in‑person work with a company vehicle and ongoing training.

You will manage projects from installation to customer education, ensuring compliance with the Ontario Plumbing Code. The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Plumber license (306A) and strong troubleshooting and communication skills to deliver high customer

Merit Ontario supports Ontario’s skilled trades workforce, providing workforce development solutions such as apprenticeship programs, e-learning, and customized training for construction employers. The role is an experienced HVAC Service Technician who will diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Location & Type

Elmira, ON – Full‑time, Permanent – In person.

Required Licence: Licensed Journeyman Plumber (306A).

Pay: CA$28.48–CA$51.71 per hour (based on experience).

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, service, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential and commercial applications
  • Perform plumbing installations for renovations, additions, and new construction projects
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective long‑term solutions
  • Prepare quotations and recommendations for customers
