What will your role be responsible for?

Relationship Management

  • Provide high standard client service, anticipating needs and concerns, and being a good listener.
  • Communicate effectively via phone, email, written, and in-person interactions.
  • Assist in prospecting and developing new business opportunities.

Investment Management

  • Work closely with the lead advisor to manage investment portfolios, both fee-based and non-fee-based.
  • Prepare investment policy statements, portfolio evaluations, client commentaries, reviews, and proposals.
  • Build, monitor, and rebalance customized investment portfolios in line with clients’ profiles and compliance standards.
  • Assist in research, analysis, asset allocation decisions, and investment product selection.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure portfolios align with clients’ financial plans.
  • Maintain high standards of integrity, objectivity, and expertise.

  • Familiarity with Dataphile, FactSet, Morningstar, and Croesus.
  • Marketing experience.
  • Understanding of investment concepts, practices, and procedures in the securities industry.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work independently and collaboratively.
  • Handle confidential information tactfully and discreetly.

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • University degree with finance exposure.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in investment or financial services.
  • Experience managing investments like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and GICs.

Licenses/Certifications

  • CIRO licensed.
  • CIM/CFP designations are an asset.
