Job summary

Welldone Mechanical Services in Saskatoon is seeking a Licensed Electrician to perform service calls, troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.

The role includes diagnosing issues, inspecting installations, retrofits, and ensuring compliance with codes; HVAC work is included with training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills when dealing with clients.
• Willingness to learn and work on HVAC equipment; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Run electrical service calls: troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.
• Diagnose electrical issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and modify existing installations on renovation and retrofit projects.
• Install new systems and carry out retrofits in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance under year-round service contracts with established commercial accounts
• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service and complete accurate service documentation.

Job Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Electrician certificate preferred (Red Seal welcome) - registered apprentices are encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience in commercial/industrial electrical service
• Willingness to learn and work on HVAC equipment - no prior HVAC experience needed, we train you.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standards
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.
