Job summary

Flyer Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our team on commercial projects in Prince Albert, SK. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience on commercial construction sites and holds a Saskatchewan electrical license.

We offer 4–5 days a week, 8–10 hour days, with a wage of $45/hour and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, disability, life and travel medical, RRSP matching, wellness program, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician.
• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate - Construction Electrician.
• Saskatchewan Electrical License.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers.
• Comply with Company’s corporate Health and Safety manual.
• Adhere to both Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures.
• Ensure project safety, profitability, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications.
• Attend daily and weekly site meetings, as well as all mandatory training.
• Maintain a professional image and demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and workmanship.
• Provide safe and effective supervision and guidance to personnel when needed.
• Guide and train apprentices in the proper use of tools, materials, and techniques for most efficient electrical installations.
• Lead others by example.
• Perform any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate - Construction Electrician trade
• Proven experience as a commercial electrician
• Saskatchewan Electrical License
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel regularly
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Maintain a clean driving abstract and drug/alcohol clearance.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
