Welldone Mechanical Services in Saskatoon is seeking a Journeyperson Plumber to manage plumbing and gas service calls for commercial and light industrial clients. Expect installation, repair, and testing, plus diagnosing issues and providing cost-effective solutions.

You will also perform renovations, retrofits, and HVAC service per codes, while delivering top-tier customer service and thorough documentation. Training is provided for HVAC; relocation options available.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson plumber with relevant certification.
• Experience on commercial and light industrial plumbing projects.
• Willingness to learn HVAC; training provided.
• Knowledge of local regulations and codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Run plumbing and gas service calls: install, repair, maintain, and test commercial and light industrial plumbing and gas systems.
• Diagnose plumbing and gas-related issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and modify existing installations on renovation and retrofit projects.
• Install new systems and carry out retrofits in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance under year-round service contracts with established commercial accounts
• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service and complete accurate service documentation.

Sign on Bonus $5,000

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour, we pay based on experience. Potential annual earnings $100K +. Journeyperson rate shown; apprentice rates scale with level.

Job Qualifications:

• Certified Journeyperson Plumber and/or licensed General Gasfitter preferred (Red Seal welcome) - registered apprentices are encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience on commercial and light industrial plumbing projects.
• Willingness to learn and work on HVAC equipment - no prior HVAC experience needed, we train you.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.
