Job summary

Peachland Dental Centre, a long-standing practice in the Okanagan, is seeking a Dental Assistant who is registered or certified with the provincial body. Join a team focused on exceptional patient care and community trust.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, taking dental X-rays, sterilizing instruments, updating patient charts, and supporting scheduling while upholding IPAC standards and privacy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule: Monday 9-5, Tuesday 9-7, Wednesday 10-6, Thursday 9-5, * Friday's starting November 2026

About You:

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
