Job summary

Warmland Dental in Duncan, BC is seeking a Registered/Certified Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists with room preparation, patient care, X-ray imaging, and sterilization. The role requires current provincial registration and prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$30-$35/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location. This role offers a uniform allowance, PDC reimbursement, free parking, extended health benefits, and RRSP matching!
