Job summary

Premier Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC in Windsor, Ontario is hiring a Licensed Automotive Technician for a full-time role. You will diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems, perform maintenance, and mentor apprentices in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The position requires a fully licensed 310S Journeyman Technician certificate and a clean driving record. Red Seal is a plus. Competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed 310S Journeyman Technician certificate is required.
• Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect critical components such as brakes, fuel systems, and engines.
• Repair or replace parts as needed and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment and adhere to OEM standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs and customer communication.
• Document all work on the repair order and ensure warranty payments where applicable.
• Maintain an inventory of common tools and stay current with factory bulletins and training.
• Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and revenue.
