Premier Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC in Windsor, ON is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician to diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems with OEM standards. You will mentor apprentices and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

The role requires a Fully licensed 310S Journeyman Technician, strong knowledge across makes/models, and excellent communication. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered at Premier Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed 310S Journeyman Technician.
• Red Seal certification would be an asset.
• Completion of a related post-secondary program or training courses.

Responsabilités

• Perform vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance per RO, adhering to OEM standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs, cycle times and customer communication.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend repairs to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document all work on repair orders in OEM standard format; ensure warranty payment where applicable.
• Maintain an inventory of commonly used tools not normally inventoried by the Service department.
• Keep up with factory bulletins and participate in factory training as required.
• Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.

Your area offocus.

As anAutomotive Technician, your primary responsibilities include diagnosing,testing, and repairing vehicle systems to ensure their security andfunctionality, using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. You'll conductpreventative maintenance, inspect critical vehicle components such as brakes,fuel systems, and engines, and repair or replace parts as needed. In addition,you'll mentor apprentices and maintain a safe and efficient workenvironment.

Whatdrives your day-to-day?

• Performing vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on RO with efficiency and accuracy, performing all duties in accordance with dealership and OEM standards
• Communicating with Parts and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production/repairs, cycle times and customer communication
• Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations for repairs while ensuring the safety and reliability of any vehicle that has been repaired prior to them being returned to the customer
• Document all work performed on the vehicle RO by creating a story in the on the associated repair order, in a manner consistent with OEM standards, ensuring payment of warranty work is provided by the manufacturer
• Maintain an inventory of common automotive technician's tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as a "store-provided" piece of equipment
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as required
• Providing an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue

• Strong knowledge in various makes and models.
• Fully licensed 310S Journeyman Technician certificate is required for this role
• Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses
