Job summary

Mark Wilson's Better used cars in Guelph, ON is seeking a Journeyman Automotive Technician. You will diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems, conduct preventive maintenance, and mentor apprentices in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Candidates should have a provincially recognized Journeyman certificate; Red Seal is a plus. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate, completed or in process.
• Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems per OEM standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and multi-point inspections.
• Mentor apprentices and maintain safe, efficient work environment.
• Document work performed and manage warranty payments with OEM guidance.
• Communicate with advisors to manage repairs and customer updates.
