Job summary

Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac in Whitby, Ontario, is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, test and repair vehicle systems while following OEM standards. You will perform maintenance, inspect brakes, fuel systems and engines, and mentor apprentices in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop within AutoCanada’s network.

A provincially recognized Journeyman certificate is required or in progress; Red Seal certification is an asset.

Qualifications

• Provincially recognized Journeyman certificate or in progress
• Red Seal certification is an asset
• Experience with diagnostics on multiple makes/models

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test and repair vehicle systems to OEM standards
• Perform multi-point inspections and recommend repairs
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs and cycle times
• Document all work on repair orders per OEM standards
• Maintain inventory of common tools as store-provided equipment
• Attend factory-sponsored training and stay updated on bulletins
• Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive loyalty and revenue
