Job summary

CSN is seeking a Licensed Auto Body Technician to join our team in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. You will repair or restore damaged vehicles to original structural integrity, function, and appearance.

The incumbent must be detail-oriented and capable of multitasking as priorities shift. You will review work orders, inspect damage, and perform frame alignment, welding, and full body repairs while adhering to OEM procedures.

Qualifications

• Auto body repair experience: minimum 3 years.
• Red Seal license (310B/310Q) or in an apprenticeship program preferred.
• I-CAR and OEM certifications are favorable.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and repair cost estimates and plan work.
• Thoroughly examine collision damage and verify OEM data.
• Perform structural and complete body repairs including frame and components.
• Weld on vehicles using MIG welders and compression spot welders.
• Dismantle and reassemble vehicles; check for hidden damages early in repair.
• Follow OEM procedures using all data and perform tests to ensure proper handling.
