Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON is seeking a Licensed 310T Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain and repair heavy diesel equipment at our facility and will work the afternoon shift, with occasional weekends/overtime.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (310T).
• 3+ years’ experience as Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
• Experience with hydraulics is an asset.
• Ability to use J Pro diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health and Safety in all tasks and follow safety policies.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty equipment.
• Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Complete warranty docs and daily logs.
• Disassemble/inspect/replace worn components as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.

Job description

Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON is currently looking for a Licensed 310T Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy diesel equipment at our facility. Wage range: $38-42/hour, afternoon shift; 1 pm- 11:30pm, with the occasional opportunity to work weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner;
• Complete and follow all Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs);
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and various types of equipment;
• Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance;
• Complete and maintain warranty documentation and daily logs;
• Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn, damaged, or defective components as required;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through regular housekeeping activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (310T License).
• 3+ years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
• Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
• Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software.
• Class G Driver’s License required.
