Job summary
Waste Connections of Canada is seeking a certified diesel mechanic in London, Ontario. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles, with on-site duties and emergency road-call responsiveness.

Qualifications
- Registered 310T Mechanic (Fully Licensed).
- Proficiency in diesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair.
- Basic tool set.
- Valid Class DZ Or AZ license is an asset.
- Pass pre-employment verifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair of diesel vehicle systems.
- Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and adjust ECUs.
- Respond to road calls for emergency repairs.
- Complete repairs identified on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Complete paperwork using fleet maintenance software.
- Test drive trucks after services and repairs.
- Assist other team members with repairs as needed.
- Interact professionally with drivers and adhere to safety standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
