Qualifications

• Understanding and adherence to privacy, AML and related financial regulations.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Ability to identify and act on sales and service opportunities.
• Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
• Knowledge of Access Credit Union’s products and services.
• Proficient computer skills and following standardized policies.

Responsibilities

• Lending: identify member needs and promote a full range of products and services.
• Evaluate loan viability and risk; make recommendations within limits.
• Explain terms and conditions of lending products to members.
• Coordinate with loans processing to ensure timely documentation.
• Manage loan delinquency with proactive member communication.
• Relationship management: maintain profitable member relationships.
• Pursue new business while retaining existing relationships.
• Refer qualified prospects to specialists within the credit union.
• Support branch sales goals and participate in staff meetings.
• Represent the credit union in the community.
