Barriston LLP in Huntsville, Ontario is seeking a Legal Assistant to support our real estate, corporate, wills and estates teams in an in-office capacity.
You will assist with administrative tasks, document preparation and client communications, working closely with lawyers, assistants and law clerks to ensure a smooth client experience. The ideal candidate has 2 years of relevant experience and strong attention to detail.

We have an existing vacancy for a Legal Assistant in our Huntsville office to work with our established legal team practicing in the areas of Real Estate, Corporate, Wills and Estates. Given the nature of the responsibilities of this position, this is a fully in-office role.
Working in a team environment with experienced Law Clerks, Assistants and Lawyers, you will be responsible for handling legal and administrative work with an emphasis on client experience.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant, including experience with respect to the responsibilities outlined below.
The successful candidate will be responsive, responsible and have good judgment. We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail to provide support to the department with a focus on client service. Excellent time management and computer skills are a pre-requisite. Program-specific IT training will be provided initially and then as required on an ongoing basis.
