Job summary

ABL Employment is seeking a permanent unionized sign installer in Richmond, BC. You will load, transport, mount, and install signs, ensuring they meet client specifications, while using hand tools and climbing to height as needed.

Requirements include at least 2 years of sign installation experience (or similar), a valid commercial driver's license with clean driving record, and knowledge of vinyl, channel letters, electrical, and road signs. Work outdoors in all weather; role is on-site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various types of signs (vinyl, channel letters, electrical signs, and road signs).
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb, and work at heights.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure signs meet client specifications (spelling, font, medium).
• Load, transport, and mount signs; install signs using hand tools.
• Remove old signage and secure electrical connections.
• Perform routine maintenance on signs and equipment.

Opportunity for a permanent unionized position!

You will be ensuring that signs meet clients’ specifications (spelling, font, medium), loading signs, transporting signs / tools / materials, mounting signs, installing signs using hand tools, removing old signage, securing electrical connections, and performing maintenance on signs.

The pay rate for this position is $28-$35/hour. We pay weekly every Friday!
