Responsibilities

As a Leasing Professional - Residential with Hines, you will partner with the team on property marketing, advertising, and sales activities. You will also ensure resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and secure lease renewals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct property tours for prospective residents and visitors
  • Process documentation such as credit screenings, background checks, lease agreements, and move-in packages
  • Inspect apartments before occupancy to ensure they are in excellent condition
  • Develop marketing plans to maintain occupancy and stay informed about market trends
  • Create promotional materials and use technology to communicate with prospects and generate revenue
  • Achieve revenue and occupancy goals by managing marketing, advertising, and sales efforts, and ensuring apartments are available for occupancy
  • Assist with lease renewal processes and communication
  • Build relationships with prospective and current residents to ensure satisfaction and facilitate lease decisions

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Preferred prior experience in customer service or sales
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Entata experience is a plus
  • Work indoors approximately 95% of the time, outdoors about 5%
  • Use senses to inspect buildings and detect emergency alarms
  • Perform physical inspections, including climbing stairs or accessing restricted areas
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Be accessible 24/7 for emergencies and manage on-site operations during natural disasters
  • Transfer properties and work overtime as needed
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
