Learning Services Teacher - Grades K-6 at Frank J. Mitchell Elementary School, Sparwood, BC, is a 1.0 FTE temporary position starting September 29, 2026 (or upon posting) to December 18, 2026, onsite.

Candidates must hold a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education; BC Teacher Certification is preferred; elementary teaching experience is an asset. All work is on site, and continuing teachers may need to vacate their assignment for the temporary posting.

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Job Summary:

Learning Services Teacher - Grades K-6

1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 29, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to December 18, 2026, or return of the incumbent.

Must have a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education. Experience at the Elementary level would be considered an asset.

Please note that all work will be on site.

Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
