Job summary

University of Waterloo is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to manage, design, and deliver university-wide employee learning programs. The role partners across HR to ensure offerings are aligned with needs and priorities.

The incumbent will translate organizational requirements into meaningful learning opportunities, coordinate events and resources, and contribute to continuous improvement in learning delivery across the institution.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with a master's preferred in a relevant discipline.
• 2–3 years designing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating learning programs.
• Experience working in a post-secondary or complex organizational environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate a range of learning programs and events.
• Evaluate programs using feedback and data to drive improvement.
• Coordinate learning resources, tools, and calendars.
• Collaborate with HR partners to align offerings with organizational priorities.
