Job summary

Doctors of BC is seeking an Instructional Designer, Learning Experience, to design and develop end-to-end learning solutions that support learners across the organization. You will partner with business analysts, PMs, SMEs, and leaders to identify gaps, set objectives, and recommend effective learning approaches grounded in adult learning principles and accessibility.

As part of a team environment, you will drive adoption of new technologies and processes, contribute to improvements of design

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in adult education, instructional design, organizational development, business, project management, or related field.
• Progressive experience in designing or sustaining employee learning programs.
• Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with ADDIE and adult learning principles.
• Experience creating simulations, microlearning, videos, and infographics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end learning design and development for complex, organization-wide initiatives.
• Partner with analysts, PMs, SMEs, and stakeholders to identify gaps and objectives.
• Develop learning solutions that drive adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and refine approaches based on feedback and data.
• Improve instructional design practices, templates, and standards.
