Job description

Here’s your opportunity to join a growing company in the rapidly evolving health care sector. Spectrum Health Care is currently seeking an experienced learning professional to join our team as Learning Designer . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs aligned with business goals and objectives.

Job Description

  • Curriculum and course development - designs and develops structured learning programs aligned with business, academic, and training goals
  • Develops learning objectives, course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials for a variety of audiences
  • Responsible for content creation including interactive e-learning modules, digital learning assets, assessments, and multimedia content.
  • Manages and administers Spectrum’s learning management system, including user enrollment, tracking, reporting, and analyzing learning data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Stays up to date with emerging trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult education.
  • Collaborates and engages with key stakeholders including SMEs, trainers, and other team members
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders including health care providers, patients, and regulatory agencies to promote quality, safety, and risk management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in the field of Learning / Instructional Design (Virtual Education) in the health care sector
  • Post-secondary degree in Health Care, Business, HR, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong skills with e-learning authoring software (Articulate 360 Rise and Storyline), creation of SCORM packages, and ease with manipulation of Learning Management Systems
  • Strong understanding of instructional design models, learning theories, and adult learning principles
  • Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with gamification, microlearning, mobile learning, or virtual learning technologies is an asset
