The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs aligned with business goals and objectives.

Job Description

1. Curriculum and course development - designs and develops structured learning programs aligned with business, academic, and training goals
2. Develops learning objectives, course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials for a variety of audiences
3. Responsible for content creation including interactive e-learning modules, digital learning assets, assessments, and multimedia content.
4. Manages and administers Spectrum’s learning management system including user enrollment, tracking, and reporting; analyzes learning data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
5. Stays up to date with emerging trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult education.
6. Collaborates and engages with key stakeholders including SMEs, trainers, and other staff
7. Works with internal and external stakeholders including health care providers, patients, and regulatory agencies to promote quality, safety, and risk management initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the field of Learning / Instructional Design (Virtual Education) in the health care sector
• Post-secondary degree in Health Care, Business, HR, Education, or a related field.
• Certificate in Instructional / Learning Design Education Program / Coursework
• Strong skills with e-learning authoring software (Articulate 360 Rise and Storyline), creation of SCORM packages, and ease with manipulation of Learning Management Systems
• Strong understanding of instructional design models, learning theories, and adult learning principles
• Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with gamification, microlearning, mobile learning, or virtual learning technologies is an asset
