Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced Learning Design Consultant for its client’s global learning and talent development team in Vancouver, BC. This six-month contract has high potential for extension.

Design and develop performance-focused learning solutions, lead the instructional design lifecycle, and create engaging digital experiences using Articulate 360, Synthesia, After Effects, and Canva.

Qualifications

• Design and develop performance-focused learning solutions for contact centres, retail, or distribution.
• Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
• Experience with Synthesia and video editing tools (After Effects or Premiere Pro).
• Visual design using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Strong PM, communication, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional design and development from needs analysis to revisions.
• Build interactive digital learning modules for contact centre and distribution centre environments.
• Create motion graphics, video content, and visual assets with tools such as Synthesia, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Canva.
• Maintain and enhance learning portfolios, improve user experience, and support evaluation of learning outcomes.
• Ensure materials follow business strategy, instructional design standards, brand guidelines, and accessibility best practices.
• Apply emerging learning technology, AI-driven development, and instructional design methods.

Role overview

Design and develop performance-focused learning solutions, primarily for contact centres, distribution networks, and customer-facing teams. Lead the instructional design lifecycle from scoping and storyboarding through digital development and SME-driven revisions. Create engaging digital learning experiences aligned with business strategy, brand standards, accessibility practices, and user experience principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional design and development, including needs analysis, scoping, storyboarding, digital build, and revisions.
• Build interactive digital learning modules for contact centre and distribution centre environments.
• Create motion graphics, video content, and visual assets using tools such as Synthesia, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Canva.
• Maintain and enhance learning portfolios, improve user experience, and support evaluation of learning outcomes.
• Ensure materials follow business strategy, instructional design standards, brand guidelines, and accessibility best practices.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience designing and developing performance-focused learning solutions; contact centre, retail, or distribution experience is an asset.
• Expert proficiency in Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise.
• Hands‑on experience with Synthesia and video editing tools such as Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.
• Visual design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or equivalent tools.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, organizational development, graphic design, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation and term

$58.39–$64.88 per hour. Six-month contract with potential for extension.
